Hilo Vacation Rentals: 2 (or 3) bedroom OCEANFRONT AT THE BEST SWIMMING AND SNORKELING BEACH IN HILO. This beach home fronts Richardson's black sand, swimming, and snorkeling beach in the Keaukaha neighborhood of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. For larger groups, a 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom can be accessed through a separate entrance downstairs. PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent the top and bottom floors separately, so guests always retain their privacy. For example, if a group of 1-4 occupies the top level of the house, then the bottom floor remains unoccupied.

Best Hilo Beaches: The Surfrider house fronts family friendly Richardson beach. Protected swimming and snorkeling areas with lifeguards line the Hilo Bay. Richardson beach is located across the road from the house. The road in front is a residential street, not a busy highway, that dead-ends a block beyond this house. Boogie boards and limited beach equipment provided.

High speed cable Internet access. The living room and master bedroom have fantastic ocean & beach views. The Surfrider house is right next door to the Hawaii Beaches house and one short block from the Lilikoi house. For larger groups, or families traveling together, the Beaches house can be rented in conjunction with the Surfrider house.

Located in the town of Hilo just 6 miles from the airport, this house is close to farmer's market, shopping, restaurants, golf, waterfalls, Volcanoes National Park with active volcano, museum, tours, Hilo Medical Center, and the University of Hawaii.
